A Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday granted leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra,IPOB,Nnamdi Kanu bail on very stringent conditions.
Justice Binta Nyako of the court who granted Kanu the bail asked him to produce three sureties in the sum of N100m each.
Also, Kanu, who has been standing trial for treason was granted bail on health round. He was further asked not to grant interviews nor attend rallies.He is also not to attend any gathering where there are over ten people.
The IPOB leader has been in detention since October 2015.
Newsdiaryonline learnt that several attempts were made to resolve the Kanu matter by government officials along with representatives of the his group without success before now.
