Interior Design Excellence Awards IDEA 2012 Holds In Lagos

Essential Interior Magazines in partnership with Palm3 Concepts Nigeria, will hold a 2-day Interior Design Excellence Awards and Exhibition (IDEA) 2012 on Friday 28 September, 2012 at the Expo Centre, Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island Lagos from 8.00am – 6.00pm with post event dinner on Saturday 29 September, 2012, from 9.00am – 7.00pm, at The Wheatbaker, Ikoyi during which the coffee table book, “IDEA Book of Design 2012”  profiling the work of all the award nominees and winners – will be launched.

This event is designed to bring together 350 pre-eminent Nigerian and international Interior Designers, Builders and Architects, art lovers and collectors as well as key players in the private and public sectors. The event will help build synergy among groups and individuals and it is hoped that the relationships that are formed at this event will blossom into business relationships that will benefit and strengthen institutions and firms throughout Nigeria.  The theme for this year’s event is “Interior Design and Architecture in Nation Building”. 

This year’s event is expected to be chaired by the Executive Vice President of the Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Arc. Namadi Sambo.  Among the International special guests confirmed to attend are Saashi Caan, President of the International Federation of Interior Designers and Architects (IFI) with her entire board from 9 different countries in Europe and America.

During the event, there will be plenary keynotes/speeches and awards presentation.  Participants will have the opportunity for extensive profiling of their brand via multimedia presentations.  There will also be an opportunity to distribute corporate gifts to guests, prominent display of services and interventions through banners and exhibition booths, backdrops, and marketing and promotional materials.  In addition, post event activities will feature print and electronic media coverage of Sponsors’ recognition. The highpoint of this event will be the adoption of the International Federation of Interior Designers (IFI) declaration by President ShashiCaan and the Executive Board with Vice President Namadi Sambo.
