Exclusive: AIG Adamu succeeds Idris as Acting IGP + Photo

Multiple sources have revealed  to Newsdiaryonline  that AIG  M.A. Adamu, mni  will anytime   from now be  officially announced as the new Acting Inspector General of Police, IGP.

Credible police sources disclosed Monday evening that Adamu has in fact been confirmed  to the  Force HQ  as the  successor to IGP Ibrahim Kpotun Idris,whose  tenure is known to have elapsed having attained his retirement age.

Also, highly placed  sources in the Presidency confirmed   the development to Newsdiaryonline on condition of anonymity

Until his appointment, AIG Adamu  was  Directing Staff at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies,NIPSS, Kuru near  Jos. He is renowned for his excellent stint at INTERPOL, a feat that  has earned him high recognition  in the Force locally and internationally.
