The Department of State Services has asked the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Mr. Adams Oshiomhole to respond to allegations against him by petitioners over the conduct of the party’s primaries, News Digest has report.
According to the report, Oshiomhole, who was grilled by operatives of the service in Abuja on Monday, was said to have been accused of collecting bribes from some aspirants.
It could be recalled that Newsdiaryonline had reported earlier October, alleged disquiet among Buhari’s followers over the way Oshiomhole was handling the party primaries.
Though his supporters claimed he was sanitizing the party and clipping the wings of state governors, Oshiomhole’s critics said he was “wrecking” APC.
The latest reports of alleged bribery appear to be a fresh twist in the tale which may have reportedly sparked the intervention of the DSS.
