The Attah of Igala, Dr. Idakwo Ameh Oboni 11 has advocated that interstate visits should be encouraged to enhance confidence among the citizenry in view of the current security challenges in the country.
His Royal Majesty, Idakwo Ameh Oboni 11 stated this at his palace in Idah during the homage by the wife of the governor of kaduna state,Hajiya Fatima Ramalan Yero in company of her host and counterpart in Kogi state,Hajiya Halima Ladi Wada.Mrs Yero was in the state for a wedding ceremony of her orderly, Police officer Mero Sanni.
HRH Idakwo Ameh oboni 11 described the wife of Kaduna state governor as a shining star, a rare gem, having built a lot of confidence in one of her aides who coincidentally is one of our own.
He thanked the wife of the governor for the singular honor done to Igala kingdom, promising to reciprocate the gesture when the need arises through encouraging inter tribal and state marriages.
Earlier,the Tauraren Dalatun Zazzau,who is also the wife of kaduna state governor,Hajiya fatima Ramalan yero thanked the paramount ruler for granting them audience and attention in spite the short notice,adding that she felt highly honored for the warm reception.
Queen Juliana Agoyibo,wife of the paramount ruler saluted the courage of the wife of the governor on the visit, saying she should feel free to seek royal advise from his majesty on any issue.
In her vote of thanks, the host and Kogi State First Lady,Hajiya Halima Ladi Wada,said the need to pay royal homage was in appreciation of her colleague’s courage to visit kogi state, in spite the distance.She thanked his royal majesty and the wife for being there for them, pleading with him to continue to pray for them and their husbands in the course of administering their various states. Presentation of kola nuts also formed part of the visit.
