A suspected Boko Haram bomber has been nabbed Monday while trying to detonate an explosive at the Centrex unit of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency(NAMA), Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.
Available details indicate that the suspect had gained access under the guise that he was handicapped which truly he was, but that did not deterr security agents from digging into his strange mission due to his unusual movement during which he was trying to press an object.
He was immediately apprehended, upon which he was with caught an explosive detonator.
The airport police command was promptly alerted and suspected bomber handed over to the police.
Presently, he has been taken to the Beesam Police Station, Airport Command where he is presently undergoing interrogation.
The spokesman of NAMA, Mr Supo Atobatele confirmed the development and that details would be made available to the media later.
