On Monday, Chief Ben Obi said that Ndigbo will have a voice in Nigeria if the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) triumphs in the Anambra state guber election .

Obi who is a Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the present Governor Peter Obi on inter-party matters reiterated that “APGA will be dead as a political party in Nigeria if Anambra state is lost to opposition political parties in the forthcoming governorship election”.

He urged members of APGA to do what they can to convince people of Anambra
into voting APGA back to power. He added that Ndigbo will not be left out of an arrangement which involved every zone having a political party with which they go for negotiation at the centre.
“The APC for the Yorubas, PDP for the North while APGA is the bastion of hope for Ndigbo “ We cannot afford to lose Anambra state in this election. We must ensure we win Anambra to enable us to move to other states in south-east.
We are determined to convince Anambra people to vote for APGA to enable us to continue with the good work of governor Peter Obi in the state.
“ If APGA did not win Anambra state, the spirit of our late leader Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu and our brothers and sisters who lost their souls during Biafran war will never rest in peace. But with APGA winning the state and eventually extending to other states in the zone, Ndigbo would have a voice for our people because what we experienced during the war is what they want us to continue to be suffering but we won’t allow that,” he further stated.
