Tinubu Mourns Baba Omojola

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has described the death of Baba Omojola as sad and a depletion of the ranks of the relentless fighters for a just and free society. “Baba Omojola offered selfless Service to our country. For nearly 50 years, he put in his best in the struggle to make Nigeria a better country that is well governed and one that meets the aspirations of all”.

Tinubu recalled that he had during Baba Omojola’s 75th birthday called for the establishiment of a foundation that will inculcate in our youths the retention of good values and selfless service to country and humanity.”I repeat that plea again today. Baba Omojola, who graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a first class went on to invest his intellect and energy in the struggle for societal emancipation represents one of the greatest service one can ever render to country. We must celeberate him and hold him up as a model of selfless service and commitment. We must collectively rise up to immortalize this great and cerebral man, who invested his life in the service of humanity”.

“Nothing better illustrates his selflessness and patriotic spirit that the fact that he died whle on the assignment of making a presentation to the National Dialogue advisiory Panel in Akure. He died at his duty post a faithful servant”.

Tinubu prayed for the family that God will grant them the fortitude to bear this loss and also condoled with the rights community and comrades who through the decades have fought side by side with Baba omojola.
