Former Governor Danbaba Danfulani Suntai of Taraba State is dead.His death was confirmed Wednesday after by one of his former aides.
Suntai ‘s tenure as governor of Taraba State came to a tragic end following the crash of a plane in which he was the pilot.
The drama after the incident left his state in tension as his loyalists, known as the cabal sought to control the levers of power even while he was on admission at a hospital overseas.
He was eventually flown back to Taraba in the heat of the succession drama.
There was no immediate information about his last few months, but the ex governor never fully recovered from the impact of the plane crash.
