The South African President, Jacob Zuma has arrived Abuja to attend the inauguration ceremony of the 5th Executive President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.
The FCT Permanent Secretary, Engr. John Obinna Chukwu received President Zuma on arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Thursday night.
Engr. Chukwu officially welcomed the President to Abuja, and wished him a memorable stay.
Subsequently, the Permanent Secretary hosted President Zuma at the Presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja before proceeding to the city.
Those who accompanied the Permanent Secretary to receive him include the South African Minister of International Reelations and Co-operation, Ms. M. Nkoana Mashabane, Nigerian High Commissioner to South Africa, Ambassador Martins Cobam, South African High Commissioner to Nigeria, Mr. L. Mnguni as well as some top government functionaries’ particularly top officials of the Foreign Affairs Ministries and other diplomats from South African High Commission in Nigeria.
About 77 South African officials were on the entourage of President Jacob Zuma to this inauguration ceremony.
