Sokoto state governor Aminu Tambuwal has assigned portfolios to the newly appointed members of the State Executive Council.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Director General, Media and Publicity, Abubakar Shekara Saturday.
The Commissioners who were sworn in Friday, have their portfolios as follows:
1. Hon. Sulaiman Usman (SAN), Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice
2. Hon. Muahmmad Arzika Tureta,
Ministry for Local Government and Community Development
3. Alh. Usman Sulaiman Danmadami, Ministry of Works
4. Hon. Sa’idu Umar, Ministry of Finance
5. Hon. Abdulkadir Jeli Abubakar III, Ministry of Home Affairs
6. Prof. Aisha Madawaki, Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education
