Spokesman of Nigeria’s Defence Headquarters,Major General Chris Olukolade has hinted that the remnants of the Boko Haram sect are “already in disarray”.
He made this remark on his twitter handle on Friday while speaking on what what the defence headquarters earlier on its website described as the “purported Shekau video in circulation”.
Speaking on the “barbaric” content of the video,Olukolade said “Nigerians should not despair” because the campaign against terror was yielding “expected result.”
He insisted that the military would not be distracted from its resolve “to decimate, degrade and bring the remnants of the terrorists already in disarray to due justice”
Major General Olukolade’s tweets read thus:

A man who claimed to be Abubakar Shekau the leader of Boko Haram reportedly resurfaced in a new video Thursday.Earlier, the military had said Shekau and his impostor were dead.
