The attention of Concerned Democrats of Conscience ( CDC) has been drawn to a story with the above caption in your powerful Media of November 16,2014.
This response is not to join issues, if any, but to correct the erroneous impressions and obvious misrepresentation of facts that were the lot of the story.
The All Progressives Congress APC in Askira Uba local government area of Borno state is never in crisis as the alarm raised by some political jobbers and detractors was aimed bringing unnecessary bad blood and heighten tension where there is none.
The APC under the able leadership of Barr Isa Madu Chul is one indivisible family that is rooted in solid Democratic structure with the full capacity to win all elections in a free and fair contest in our area.
The allegation of brewing crisis arising from presumed plan to impose a favourite aspirant on the good people of our area by Barr Chul, is not only baseless and unfounded but a deliberate bid to advance blackmail and I’ll motivated vituperations against our respected political leader.
As keen observers of the political development of our area, we want to state without any iota of equivocation that Barr Chul, as our political leader has never discriminated against any one on the basis of his religion, tribe or gender issues, but one that believes in the promotion of internal democracy and party cohesion for the common good of our people.
So, for one Alh. Abubakar Askira to cry wolf where there is none is not only detractive but a carefully planned attempt to malign our leader with such jaundiced and unsubstantiated allegations to injure our tenets of democracy.
What our party needs at the moment is not baseless allegations based on frivolous presumptions but total unity and proactive campaigns to face the challenges of the new Democratic order.
The APC in Askira Uba local govt area is in good stead to win all our elections as we are in total support of the aspirations of Governor Kashim Shettima. As we salute his courage to transform the state in the face of these daunting challenges, we shall mobilize our teeming populace to vote enmasse for the party at all levels in the forthcoming elections
