The candidate of the peoples Democratic party (PDP) in Saturday’s senatorial by-election for Plateau North seat, Mr. Gyang Pwajok has been declared winner of the polls by the Independent National Electoral Commision(INEC).
Returning officer designate for the by-election Prof Fatima Sawa, while announcing the result weekend, said the PDP scored 195 349 votes to defeat the five other parties.
Col John Dungs, candidate for the Democratic Peoples party (DPP) scored 38,847.
