The Kaduna State Football Association (FA) on Thursday said it has commenced preparations for the second edition of the Late Kapaka Memorial Cup Competition, by registering clubs for the competition.
Abdussalam Jere, the FA’s Secretary, in a statement in Kaduna, said the registration would end on Jan. 16.
“The registration for the Cup competition being sponsored by Yusuf Best is on, and interested teams are invited to register at the FA office.
“The principle of first-come-first-served will be observed as we have a limited number to attend to,” he said.
Jere said the competition was not only instituted in memory of Kapaka, but also put in place to expose more hidden football talents.(NAN)
