Gunmen suspected to be members of the Boko Haram militia on Friday shot dead five young men playing card game in Gombe town.
Eyewitnesses said the assailants rode on a motorcycle up to where the victims were playing card in Bagadaza street and summarily shot them dead.
Police Public Relations Officer, Fwaji Atajiri confirmed the incident to journalists via a telephone interview. Atajiri said the police have been able to arrest one of the suspects who is currently helping with information that will lead to the arrest of other culprits.
