Former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory,FCT,Mallam Nasir el Rufai has advised the people of Kano to be vigilant and protect their city,state and monarch from forces of destruction .El Rufai who calls the newly appointed Emir of Kano,Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi his brother was one of the first to break the news to his huge followers on the social media as soon as the Kano state government made the announcement . “BREAKING: Alhamdulillah. The best man has won. SLS is the Emir of Kano. Jonathanians can go jump into the lagoon.”
He added, “I admit that this is one if the happiest days of my life. I am happy because God Has Given to my brother what he has been wishing for since we first discussed it in 1977.”
On his facebook page he proceeded to advice the people,”NEXT JONATHANIAN STEPS: Now that the Jonathanians have lost the war against my brother HRH SLS, will they give up like graciously or try new tricks? They will not give up!
“They still have the Jonathanian SSS to manufacture fresh falsehood. They have hundreds of hungry Wendell Simlins to tweet and post their drug-induced fabrications for villa cash hand-outs.
“The people of Kano must be vigilant and protect their city, state and monarch from those that do not mean our nation well – these are the looters of $20bn, the owners of multiple private jets with no business to show, the purveyors of impunity and prophets of ethnic and religious division.
He added :The saga of HRH EMIR SANUSI LAMIDO SANUSI:
“Jonathanians unlawfully removed him from office.
“They employed WENDELL SIMLIN and similar cowards to smear his good name.
:They deployed the clown at the Financial Reporting Council to defame him him.
“They attempted to compromise very institution and anyone in sight to suppress the truth of their looting that he stood courageously for.
“For two days now, they deployed every tool and resources to prevent him from ascending the stool vacated by his grandfather.
“They plotted and plotted against him but God is the best of plotters and remained on his side.
“May the reign of Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi be long, peaceful and prosperous.
“May the Almighty God Bless the kingmakers and Governir Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso for their wise and impeccable choice.
Earlier,El-Rufai took a swipe at PDP for spreading falsehood when he wrote on his facebook page”BREAKING: The PDP out of fear and hatred of my brother SLS began circulating the falsehood that someone else had been appointed Emir of Kano.
“Then they congratulated the Emir that had not been selected by the constituted authority. Earlier, they had enlisted several PDP sympathiser-traditional rulers to put pressure on Governor Kwankawaso to discourage him from selecting SLS, who was recommended on merit among the aspirants by the kingmakers.
“May the Almighty Allah Guide Governor Kwankwaso in choosing a wise and honest leader that will build on the legacy of Late Ado Bayero. In my opinion, that person is my brother SLS. But that is my opinion only which I am entitled.
“They have now withdrawn their false and contrived congratulations. PDP represents all that is evil and wrong about our nation. May Allah separate Nigeria from this evil, divisive and poverty-inducing party.
