Edo Declares Friday Public Holiday Over Permanent Voters’ Cards

Edo State Government has declared a Public Holiday for Friday, November 7, 2014 in the state.

A statement by Perter Okhiria,chief press secretary Governor Adams Oshiomhole said “The Public holiday is to enable registered voters the opportunity to collect the Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) which distribution will hold from Friday November 7 to Sunday November 9, 2014 according to INEC’s time-table.

“Registered voters in Edo State are advised to avail themselves of this opportunity and collect the Permanent Voter’s Card within the 3-day period,”the statement said.
