The Speaker of Delta House of Assembly, Mr Dennis Guwor, has felicitated the immediate past governor of the State, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa, as he clocks 65 years.
Guwor, in a congratulatory message, commended Okowa for his legacy and contributions to the development of the state and the nation at large.
The message was signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Nkem Nwaeke, on Monday in Asaba.
“We celebrate your life, achievements, and contributions to the development of Delta state and Nigeria.
“Your leadership and vision during your tenure as Governor laid a solid foundation for growth and progress in Delta state governor for his legacy and contributions to the development of State and the nation at large.

Guwor who noted that he had every reason to join hundreds of well wishers across nations to celebrate the former governor, prayed God to bring joy, peace, and many more celebrations to him, his immediate family and the state at large.
“On behalf of the honourable members, management and staff of the State Assembly, constituents of Warri South West, friends and associates, I extend warm congratulations to you, Your Excellency, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, on the occasion of your 65th birth anniversary.
“We acknowledge your dedication, wisdom, and selfless service to our people.
The Speaker prayed that the milestone birthday be a celebration of Okowa remarkable life and a harbinger of many more years of good health, joy, and fulfillment.
