The #BringBackOurGirls team will on Thursday embark on a protest march to the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock. She said “as the President and Chief Security Officer of the country, this movement deemed it necessary to take its cry and demand to His Excellency, President Goodluck Jonathan.
“Those intended to participate in the protest are to convene by 2:30pm at the usual venue of the #BringBackOurGirls village square meetings, Unity Fountain, adjacent to Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Maitama, from where the march will commence at 3:00 pm.
“The Thursday peaceful demonstration is sequel to similar such engagements such as those we’ve had with the National Assembly, the National Security Adviser, the Defence Headquarters, and the Borno State Governor” the statement said , adding that leaders of this movement have also had a fruitful exchange with the National Security Adviser.
“It is the wish of this movement that this engagement will catalyse positive action towards quick rescue of our abducted girls.
“Members of the public who share the passion and mission of this movement are hereby invited to join the march”the statement said.
