It’s a sad night in Borno state as a member of the State Executive Council ,Zannah Mallam Gana has been shot dead .Newsdiaryonline.com learnt that Mallam Gana who until his death was Borno state commissioner for justice was shot at about 8.45pm on Monday in Bama.
“Reports filtering in indicate that the commissioner for Justice ,Zanna Mallam Gana has been shot dead in Bama at about 8.45pm today(Monday)” an official told Newsdiaryoline.com.
No further details were available at the time of writing this report.It was not very clear if any group has claimed responsibility yet
.But this attack came same day reports said Abu Qaqa,spokesman of Boko Haram was killed in Kano by security forces.Some yet to be identified topshots of Boko Haram were also arrested in Kano Monday morning.
