Senior Pastor in charge of the House of Truth Church, Rev Adedoyin Adeyinka, on Sunday in Abuja said that God designed every believer to live a supernatural life in the face of challenges.
Adeyinka said this in a message he titled: `Walking in the Blessings’, taking his reading from the Book of Luke chapter 10 verse 19.
He said the life of a believer was a supernatural one because he or she was hooked to the supernatural by faith.
“God designed us to live and walk in the supernatural. It should be a common thing for a believer to live a supernatural life.
“Christianity is not a thing of the mouth, it is a supernatural phenomenon because the essence of Christ’s death was to give us a living hope and victory,’’ he said.
He said as a Christian your life should run on supernatural fuel.
According to the cleric, a lot of Christians are running from pillar to post seeking for power where there is none, and forgetting that God has given them every power they need to succeed.
He explained that there were two types of laws that governed the affairs of every human; the law of sin and death and the law of life in Christ.
He said these two laws affected everybody, but everyone had a choice of which should affect or rule them.
He said God was a supernatural being doing the impossible and he had also created every believer to do the impossible in life.
Adeyinka urged believers to seek comfort and peace from the word of God because God was not a man that He would lie as every challenge a believer was facing would come to pass.
“Resurrection of Christ gives a believer the guarantee to live a supernatural life no matter the issue facing that person.’’
He urged believers to confront life’s challenges with boldness knowing that they had power over everything. (NAN).
