The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) Osun Chapter, has commended Gov. Adegboyega Oyetola over the timely completion of the Olaiya flyover bridge in Osogbo, for its benefits to the citizenry.
The ALGON State Chairman, Mr Abiodun Idowu, gave the commendation while speaking to newsmen on Friday during the inspection of the flyover bridge at Olaiya junction with his team.
He said ALGON was satisfied with the quality of job done as the bridge was designed by a professional architecture and would stand the taste of time.
Idowu noted that the people of Osun know a quality structure and could only reciprocate the governor’s gesture by their votes in the coming governorship election.
The ALGON Vice-Chairman, Mr Folarin Fafowora, who spoke on maintenance culture, advised motorists to make judicious use of the flyover bridge rather than abuse it.
He also appealed to road users to obey traffic regulations and be good ambassadors to ensure that the flyover stand the taste of time.
