The managing Director Access Bank Mr. Herbart Wigwe has revealed that the bank is ready to enter into partnership with Adamawa State Government to develop agriculture in the northeast region.
Speaking to newsmen in Yola, the state capital shortly after a closed door meeting with Adamawa state Governor, Senator Umar jibrilla Bindow held at Government House, the MD said that the bank is willing to develop cordial relationship with the state government and expand its agricultural productivity for more internal revenue generation.
Wigwe also reiterated that agriculture being the backbone of the state should be encouraged by all sectors in order to help farmers obtain bumper yields.
“All we are trying to do is to see how we can establish partnership with the Adamawa state government to help Governor Umar Jibrilla Bindow’s administration toward achieving its campaign promises by providing infrastructure development for the people and we don’t have any case with the state government”. Wigwe said.
He however explained that, the bank being it multidimensional will do its best to encourage farmers across the country to improve their agricultural production.
