Immediate past National Caretaker Committee Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party,Senator Ahmed Makarfi has condoled with the Governors and people of Benue, River and Taraba States over the recent loss of lives.
Makarfi in a statement Wednesday described the killings as “unnecessary and avoidable loss of lives in the respective States
The PDP chieftain who is also a former governor of Kaduna State equally urged the Federal Government to fully work hand in hand with the respective States to apprehend and prosecute the culprits as well as restore full normalcy and security.
Makarfi called on “All well meaning Nigerians should help in fully securing every nook and cranny of our country.”
It could be recalled that Benue and Taraba States have been ravaged by violent killings resulting in deaths of innocent civilians and security operatives. Also, suspected cultists recently unleashed mayhem on Rivers State.
