He added that the state has been mirrored in the negative after the last election in the eye of international communities.  “We are not talking based  on party but we are talking about the state as stakeholders. The state has been mirrored in the negative after the last election in the face of international community” Etok added.

Also speaking, Senator Helen Esuene described the governorship and state house of assembly elections in the state as a “broad day light robbery”. She  said if the trend is allowed to continue, it will get worse. Esuene said no card reader was used in the state during the election.

In his contribution Senator Ita Enang called on the police to investigate the people who were carrying arms on the election day to ascertain  if they were actually security men. He said the number of weapon presently in the state called for attention and urged the security agencies to immediately start mopping up of illegal arms in the state.
