Democratic change would not be possible in the 2015 general election in Nigeria unless all APC aspirants come together as one family, one of APC’s Presidential aspirants, Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state has hinted.
He stated this shortly after holding a closed-door meeting with his Kano state counterpart, Governor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso at the Kano Government House on Wednesday.
Okorocha maintained that all the five APC presidential aspirants have promised to work together for the party to win the forthcoming presidential election, noting that this is the only way Nigeria could achieve the much desired change in leadership of the country.
The aspirant said he was in Kano to meet with APC’s Northwest delegates as part of his consultation in respect of his ambition, expressing happiness with the warm reception he received from Governor Kwankwaso who is also one of the contenders for the presidential ticket of the party.
“I am in Kano not for a presidential campaign but rather to familiarize myself with APC stakeholders in the state and Northwest at large”, Chief Okorocha said.
