The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Mr Bukar Talba of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of Monguno/Nganza/Marte Federal Constituency seat in Borno.
Prof. Zarma Adam, the Returning Officer for the constituency, declared the results on Tuesday at the INEC Collation Centre in Maiduguri.
Adam said that Talba scored 16,801 votes to beat his closest opponent, Mr Mahdi Baderi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who got 5,364 votes.(NAN)
