Mustapha Rabe, a member of Katsina State House of Assembly has donated an 11 KVA transformer to the Maiadua General Hospital, Katsina, to boost electricity supply.
Rabe told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Maidua on Monday that the gesture will also enhance healthcare delivery services at the general hospital.
The lawmaker urged the hospital’s management to make good use of and protect it against vandalism
“The role of a lawmaker is not only to make impactful laws that benefit the electorate but also to put smiles on the faces of the people they represent via laudable projects,’’ he said.
Affirming the gesture, Alhassan Danjuma, Director of Health Mai’adua local government, commended the lawmaker for presenting the transformer to the General Hospital Mai,adua.
He said that the people of Mai’adua will continue to support government’s programmes by being law abiding. (NAN)
