General Malu urges Commanders to leave lasting legacy

#TrackNigeria- The Commander Corps of Engineers, (CCE) Nigerian Army, Major General John Malu has charged the acting Commander Corps of Education Brigadier General Bainze H Mohammed and acting Director Nigerian Army Band Corps Colonel Oladimeji G Olaniyi to ensure they leave a lasting legacy that will go down the anal of history of their various corps.

According to a signed statement by, Lt. Akinola Ajibola, Assistant Director Army Public Relations Nigerian Army Engineer, General Malu stated this on while receiving the Commander and Director of both corps at the Otubu Conference room of Headquarters Nigeria Army Engineers (NAE) in Bonny Cantonment Victoria Island Lagos during their courtesy visit to the Headquarters.

Malu said “I will advise you to create a lasting legacy that will stand the test of time in terms of human capacity building of your personnel and structures for the benefit of your troops”. He further stated that NAE is ready and willing to provide support to both corps in any capacity deem fit when called upon.

Also speaking, the Acting Commander and Director of both Corps thanked the CCE for his listening ears and open door policy. They  promised to work on areas of partnership that will be beneficial to Nigerian Army as a whole in the discharge of its constitutional role.

In the statement, the highlight of the visits were the inspection of Quarter guard and presentation of the triple role Sapper souvenir to both senior officers by the CCE. 

Also present during the occassion was the Chief of Staff HQ NAE Brigadier General Abayomi Salako, Director of Standard and Evaluation HQ NAE Brigadier General Kabir Suleiman and other Principal Staff Officers.
