The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe-Abdullahi, has commended the Emir of Keffi, Alhaji Shehu Chindo-Yamusa III, for his contributions to unity, peace, progress and development.
The speaker gave the commendation on Monday in a congratulatory message sent by his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Jibril Gwamna, in commemoration of the sixth anniversary of the Emir on the throne.
The lawmaker described the reign of the Emir as filled with immeasurable activities and overwhelming successes, which brought rapid transformation to the emirate
He said the Royal Father had been able to bring hope and instill understanding amongst the people as well as promote the cultural values amongst his people
Balarabe-Abdullahi called on the people of Keffi Emirate council and the state, at large, to give the emir more support to enable him to succeed and build on the solid foundation he has put in place so far.
He also urged the people to be law-abiding, respect constituted authorities, embrace peace and tolerate one another for development to thrive. (NAN)
