At a joint meeting in Kaduna at the weekend, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmen from six local government areas that make up Kaduna Central Zone endorsed Malam Uba Sani for Kaduna Central Senatorial seat ahead of 2019.
According to a communiqué jointly signed by all the LGA party chairmen, Malam Uba Sani was endorsed for his ability to make great impact in the lives of the people of Kaduna State, especially following his appointment as Special Adviser on Political and Intergovernmental Affairs to the Governor of Kaduna State Malam Nasir El-rufai.
“The Governor’s Adviser has secured thousands of job opportunities for youths in the State through newly-created agencies like KASTLEA, KADIPA, etc. He has also secured employment for our teaming youth as Forest Rangers, Sanitation workers and so many empowerment programmes.
“He has also secured jobs for hundreds of our teeming youth under the National Directorate of Employment (NDE). He was also instrumental to disbursement of support funds through various Anchor Borrowers Scheme under the Agricultural Intervention Programme.
“Malam Uba Sani has performed excellently well in ensuring discipline and unity within the party machinery by opening the doors for wider consultations on how to move the APC forward. Most importantly he worked tirelessly in supporting and massively empowering party members in the Kaduna Central Zone,” it stated.
They explained that they were motivated by the enormous personal and financial sacrifices that Malam Uba Sani has continued to make towards transforming the party and propelling it to success in all its activities in the last two years.
“We would also like to stress that his support to the party members is legendary. We are convinced beyond reasonable doubt that he is capable of giving the very best of representation to the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone in 2019 and beyond.
“It is our conviction that going by his antecedents in the struggle for the enthronement of democracy during the era of military dictatorship and the subsequent national assignment as Special Assistant (Public Affairs) during the Presidency of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, he is so far the best man for Kaduna Central,” the communiqué emphasized.
The party chairmen therefore urged the people of Kaduna Central to remain patient and resilient and make good use of their PVCs for positive change and all-round socio-economic development in 2019 with the right man for the job being on the saddle.
The communiqué was signed by Alhaji Musa Sheriff (Kaduna North), Ibrahim Yakubu Soso (Kaduna South), Engineer Magaji Bala (Chikun) and Bala Wakili (Kajuru).
