Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo was in Kaduna on Saturday, to condole with his family members over the death of his younger brother, Mal Aliyu Sambo.
The forty year old Aliyu was involved in a road accident along Mando Road, Kawo, Kaduna, and had since been buried according to Islamic rites.
The Vice President, who was accompanied by Kaduna State Governor, Mr. Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa, his Deputy, Ramallan Yero, Minister of Defence, Dr. Bello Haliru Mohammed, Minister of Transport, Senator Idris Umar, Minister of Environment, Hajiya Hadiza Mailafiya, and several other dignitaries, prayed Almighty Allah for the repose of Aliyu’s soul and for Allah to grant him Aljana Firdausi. He also prayed Allah to grant his kith and kin the fortitude to bear the loss.
Similarly, Vice President Sambo, while at Sir Kashim Ibrahim House (Kaduna State Government House) to inspect the section that was affected by an electrical fault, commiserated with Governor Yakowa and the people of Kaduna State over the incidence.
