Kaduna State Governor Malam Uba Sani has appointed Ibraheem Musa as his Chief Press Secretary (CPS).
The appointment was announced yesterday in a statement by Fabian Anawo, a Special Adviser to the governor on Research, Documentation, and Strategy. The statement said the appointment is with immediate effect.
Malam Ibraheem Musa is a seasoned journalist with over 30 years of experience. Prior to his appointment as CPS, he served as a Media Consultant to Governor Uba Sani. He also held the position of Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity in the previous administration.
Musa’s career highlights include being the pioneer Editor of Blueprint Weekend Newspaper and serving as the Political Editor and a member of the Editorial Board at the New Nigerian Newspapers. He has also worked for various other news organizations, including Hotline News Magazine, The Sentinel Magazine, Trust Newspaper, and the Blueprint Newspaper.
In addition to his journalistic experience, Musa has been involved in political campaigns. He served as the Deputy Director of Strategic Communication for the Kaduna State APC Campaign Team in 2019 and as the Director of Strategic Communication and Spokesman for the APC Campaign Team in 2023.
Ibraheem Musa replaced the former Press Secretary to the governor, Mohammed Lawal Shehu, who has been elected as Soba Local Government Chairman.
