Deputy Governor of Taraba State, Mr Sani Abubakar Danladi has been impeached by the state House of Assembly. Mr Emma Bello, the commissioner for information confirmed the report when Newsdiaryonline.com contacted him.
It was learnt that the deputy governor was sacked over alleged incompetence and other sundry other allegations. ‘Some accused the former deputy governor of not performing his duties well’ an official said.
But there was also the grave allegation that the impeached deputy governor “diverted MDG projects to his personal school”
The impeached deputy governor was said to have defended himself when the allegations were raised but the state law makers were not satisfied and proceeded to impeach him.
