#TrackNigeria: Senator Aliyu Wamakko has admonished recently graduated Cadet Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) of Sokoto indigenes to put national interest and security above their personal interests .
He spoke at his Gawon Nama residence when he received the ten Cadet ASPs when they paid him a thank you visit .
The new Police Officers were among the 2018/2019 graduands of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil in Kano State.
“Wherever you find yourselves, you should accord top priority to national service, peace, unity and socioeconomic prosperity of Nigeria. Above all, you should ensure the safety of lives and properties of Nigerians, while you should never forget your roots, family and State,” Wamakko said.
Congratulating the, he further promised to sustain his support, guidance and wise counsel to them.
Speaking earlier, the team leader, ASP Saddam Yahayya said that the visit on Wamakko was to show their appreciation to him for his invaluable moral and financial support to them.
Yahayya added that such support was responsible for the successful completion of their studies at the Academy.
He added that they undertook professional courses including health, politics, sociology, psychology and meteorology, among others.
