Al-ameen told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Kano that the complaints centred around crime and other illegal activities being perpetrated in the forests

He said that the body had remained committed to its mandate to prevent and detect crimes activities being perpetrated in the forests.

“So far, we have treated 30 out of the 37 complainants before us, seven of them are pending.

“We will continue to partner state security agencies and other relevant stakeholders to rid the forests of crime,” he said.

The commander urged the public to cooperate with the service by giving out reliable intelligence concerning criminal activities within the forests.(NAN)
