President Goodluck Jonathan held what is his last Council of State meeting while in power .He is due to hand over to to Nigeria’s President- elect General Muhammadu Buhari May 29.
Tuesday’s meeting was also attended by Buhari, General Yakubu Gowon, Alhaji Shehu Shagari, Ibrahim Babangida, Abdulsalami Abubakar and Chief Ernest Shonekan .Former President Olusegun Obasanjo joined his colleagues after the meeting had commenced.
State governors,Senate President David Mark and Speaker House of Reps, Aminu Tambuwal among other top government functionaries were in attendance,reports said.
