The Federal University of Technology Akure, FUTA has announced the commencement of academic activities leading to the conclusion of second semester of the 2016/2017 Session.
Deputy Director, Corporate Communications, FUTA, Adegbenro Adebanjo who made the announcement in a statement advised students to return to campus.
According to Adebanjo, “The Management of the Federal University of Technology Akure, FUTA wishes to inform the general public, especially students that academic activities leading to the conclusion of the second semester of the 2016/2017 Session have resumed sequel to the suspension of ASUU strike.
“In this regard, students are advised to return to campus .A revised Academic Calendar will be published soon after the siting of the Senate.
“The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Joseph Fuwape wishes all students safe return to the University and a peaceful second semester,” the statement said.
