FOSLA Academy of Karshi on Wednesday won the FCT School Principals’ Cup Football Competition for the second year running after a lone goal defeat of Government Secondary School (GSS) Kabusa.
The final match in the 2017 edition of the competition played in Abuja saw FOSLA dominate the game from the start.
Gabriel Ojonimi, who was also voted the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the match, sealed the victory with a late second half goal.
In the female category of the competition, Junior Secondary School (JSS) Kuje beat GSS Nyanya 3-2 on penalties to emerge champions.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the competition was introduced by the FCT Football Association to promote football among secondary schools in the territory.(NAN)
