The immediate past Minister of Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Bala Mohammed has been granted bail by an Abuja court on Friday.
Justice Abubakar Talba while ruling on Bala’s bail application admitted him to bail in the sum of N500m He is also to provide two sureties in like sum.
According the judge one of the sureties must be a Senator while the second should be a Director in the Federal Civil Service.
Bala as he is popularly called was dragged to Court on Wednesday by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, over allegations bordering on abuse of office while he served as FCT Minister.
