In what appears like a continuation of his last minute moves,President Goodluck Jonathan has sacked Mrs. Saratu Altine Umar from her post as the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC).
Jonathan has approved the appointment of Mrs. Uju Aisha Hassan-Baba as the new Executive Secretary and Chief Executive NIPC .
A statement by Presidential Spokesman ,Reuben Abati said the new Executive Secretary and Chief Executive had served previously as Director-General, Legal Aid Council of Nigeria, Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice in Anambra State and Director, Legal Services, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment.
According to the statement, President Jonathan thanked the out-going Executive Secretary and Chief Executive for her services and wished her well in her future endeavours.
