President Muhammadu Buhari is scheduled to  declare open an anti corruption summit in Yola Adamawa during his one day visit to the state on  Tuesday.

Disclosing this during a briefing at the presidential lodge in Yola the Deputy Governor, Engr Martins Babale, said the President would declare the summit open and it would be attended by EFCC, ICPC, DSS and other stakeholders who are expected to present papers at the occasion.

He said among other things President Buhari will also commission a road project executed by the state Government.

Also speaking, the Secretary to the State Government SSG, Engr Buba Bindir pointed out that   “We are bringing anti corruption summit to Adamawa state not because we are hunting anybody but to bring to the fore all that we have been doing here in the state without corruption indices. We are doing that by demonstrating our good governance through the  anti corruption summit”

He said there would be presentations during the  summit and ICPC, EFCC, DSS and other groups would be on hand to talk  on the issues ahead.

The commissioner for Information and strategy, Mr.Ahmad Sajoh, said all journalists who will cover the visit of the president will be given accreditation  cards and not ID cards.

According to him the key narrative is that  Buhari has been chosen as Anti corruption crusader in Africa and   the state is  also recognizing him as the grassroots czar of anti corruption
