#TrackNigeria: The Supreme Court on Friday upheld the judgement of the Federal High Court in Port Harcourt nullifying the primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State.

Justice Mohammed Dattijo, presiding over a five-man panel on Friday dismissed the objection of the Tonye Cole-led faction of the party that it had earlier withdrawn from the appeal against the judgement.

The Federal High court was presided over by Justice Omotosho.

On Monday, the Supreme court stayed the execution of the Federal High Court judgement, which gave hope to the APC candidates in the state.

In its decision Friday, the Apex Court upheld the Federal High Court’s nullification of the APC primaries in the state.
