Boy killed as Bomb blast, gun fire rock Jos

There seems to be no let up in the  orgy  of  violence rocking  Plateau state  as a bomb blast hit Bukuru today near an Islamic School. Newsdiaryonline.com  learnt that at least one boy was killed in today’s blast just as there were reports of ongoing gunfire  in the state.

Our correspondent said an official of the Islamic School in Bukuru has confirmed that none of the pupils of the school was affected by the blast which was said to have hit a house nearby.

The endless blasts in spite of heavy military presence confounds observers. A military operation is said to be going on in some villages in   Barkin Ladi and Riyom.Fulani herdsmen who were initially urged to evacuate have reportedly been relocated to specific places under  tight security.

Military authorities were said to have given assurance that the operation in the villages would  be over in two days.
