At Least 4 Killed as Emir of Kano’s Convoy Comes Under Attack

Reports from Kano said a convoy  of the Emir of Kano ,Alhaji Ado Bayero was attacked today in the city.

At least four people were  believed to have been killed.But a correspondent said it was too early to determine the exact casualty  figure because  some of the  seriously injured victims were rushed to a hospital.

The attack occurred while the convoy was on its way back after a Quranic graduation ceremony which had been held at Massallacin Murtala.

Initial reports said the emir escaped unhurt but  two of his sons were injured.
