Senate Wednesday adjourned plenary in honour of late Honourable Olaide Akinremi Jagaban, the member representing Ibadan North federal constituency of Oyo State in the House of Representatives who died early Wednesday morning.
Announcing the demise of Hon.Jagaban “with heavy heart”, Senate Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele moved for the suspension of all items on the day’s Order Paper in line with their rules.
After observing one minute silence in honour of the dead, the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio adjourned plenary to Thursday July 11, 2024.
