A philanthropist and governorship hopeful, Hon. Dumbari Ben-Dimkpa has collected the Intent and Nomination forms in Abuja to contest the 2015 Governorship Election in Rivers State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Hon. Dimkpa is of Ogoni extraction in Rivers South-East Senatorial District of the State.
Hon. Dumbari Dimkpa, who is a Chartered Economist, holds a Master of Science Degree in International Economic/Finance, has towering credentials in addition to his experiences as Resident, Commissioner, National Insurance Cooperation of Nigeria in 2006-2007, Special Adviser to the Governor of Rivers State, Ex-officio member of the Peoples Democratic Party, South-South Zone, and Chairman of Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Port Harcourt Depot.
He also contested the PDP Primary Election for the Federal House of Representatives in 2003, a grassroot mobilizer and has received several laurels and other prestigious awards in Financial and Human Resources Management.
Hon. Dimkpa promises to provide a development-sensitive leadership if elected as governor in the 2015 elections.
He also assures the people of the State of justice, equity and even development in all parts of the State.
