A new political alliance that hopes to challenge the ruling the ruling Peoples Democratic Party as well as opposition All Progressives Congress is in the works ahead of the 2015 general elections. Credible Alternative Alliance,CAA has Alhaji Balarabe Musa former governor of Kaduna State and Olu Falae ,a former presidential aspirant as arrowheads .
Some registered political parties as well as civil society organizations are known to be part of the upcoming alliance.Parties known to be part of the alliance include Peoples Redemption Party,PRP; Social Democratic Party,SDP; Alliance for Democracy,AD;Peoples Salvation Party,PSP, Change Democratic Party; United National Party for Development,UNPD, and Peoples Progressive Party among others.
How far the alliance can go to unsettle the existing ‘big two’ remains to be seen.
