BREAKING:First female nurse dies of Ebola virus in Nigeria

The first Nigerian to be killed by Ebola virus has been reported .The victim was female nurse in Lagos.Her death has been confirmed today.
She was one of those who attended to Mr Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian who died of Ebola in Lagos last week.Sawyer upon arrival in Lagos took ill and checked into an hospital where he was confirmed to have contracted the virus which unfortunately led to his death.
On Monday, Nigeria’s Minister of Health,Professor Oyebuchi Chukwu confirmed that the doctor who attended to Sawyer had contracted the virus.He has reportedly confirmed seven cases of Ebola virus in Nigeria so far including that of Sawyer.
By implication, apart from Sawyer and the nurse who have died ,there are five other cases of people with the virus.
The had revealed that at least 70 people who had contact with Sawyer had been identified in the course of preliminary investigations.
